India to become 3rd largest economy by 2047: Rajnath Singh

Visakhapatnam: Underlining the need to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister and senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said India would emerge as the third largest economy by 2047.
Addressing BJP karyakartas and intellectuals at a meeting here at VMRDA Children’s Arena, after holding BJP core committee meeting at Vijayawada and functionaries meeting at Eluru in Andhra Pradesh, that a third term for BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre is a certainty. He asked the party supporters and followers to ensure a spectacular majority for the Modi Government to continue the good work done in the past 10 years with renewed vigour.
Declaring that BJP’s vote share in Andhra Pradesh is increasing, he said BJP is the only party which has pan-India presence. Without hinting at an alliance with the TDP-Jana Sena Party in AP in the ensuing elections, he said under the Modi’s leadership, India has emerged as a strong economy in various spheres and cited how the NDA coalition had fulfilled major promises like abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, triple talaq and construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya. He said Uttarakhand has become the first State to implement Uniform Civil Code.
Stating that they are committed to weed out corruption, he said India has become the numero uno country in digitisation.
